On a recent weekday night, I spent 15 minutes looking like a luchador, albeit a very fancy one. It was all in the name of beauty — the mask was an innovative lace mask from Dermovia that promised to leave my skin hydrated and radiant.
I tried the chamomile mask and I could immediately feel the mask’s calming effects. The package instructions said that you could refrigerate or steep the mask (refrigerate to close the pores, steep to open), but I tried it straight out of the pouch. If I’m being honest, I didn’t know if I should steep the package or the mask itself, but I was also just really excited to try it. It felt cooling despite the lack of refrigeration.
I’ve tried a number of face masks, but nothing like this — it’s a full-face mask that latches around your ears. Maybe don’t answer the door while wearing it. (Or do and see how people react!)
Per the instructions, I massaged the leftover serum into my face after removing the mask. My skin felt super moisturized and my complexion looked brighter. And there was still enough serum to use the mask again — a plus for a $15 mask. I’d definitely use the mask again — I’d love to try it steeped.
The Dermovia Lace Facial Mask is $15 for an individual mask or $60 for a pack of 4.
Stay beautiful,
